}{The apartment scene seems rather empty as Anji lays his communicator down on a make-shift kotatsu. Resting his chin on the faded blue fabric on the table he gives the screen a wave and an impish smile.}{

You know, being a frequent visitor of Yomi, one would think that sensation of deep.. endless sleep..

Would become something imperturbable.

One would think that maybe.

After falling asleep twice now, I admit it's not something I hope to become a habit.

So, just a question, if you will humor me.

Nothing morbid or cruel behind, I assure you but..

How many times have you passed on?

Does the number of times make the transition from life to death any easier?

I've been thinking..

Onee-san is of the opinion that is a dangerous thing.

}{The jovial man gives the screen a playful poke, taking the time to type his question out in TEXT, before shutting it off.}{

Well, I'm lucky in that it hasn't happened to me yet, but are you looking for a total including deaths from your own world?

I'm more interested in the number one has passed on in this city.

To be specific, miss.

I wonder how many times it is permitted.

Or if it is simply an endless cycle of death and resurrection.

Ah.

...Hrm, I'm a bit surprised no one has tried it yet. Or do we all anticipate a limit to the scientists' patience, as it were?

Well.. I would hope no one is of the penchant for multiple suicide attempts.

In the name of science I can understand.. but still, an unsavory thing to think about.

As much as I am curious, I'd rather not test the theory with my own body anymore.

Well, there seems to be all sorts here. I wouldn't be surprised if there were people willing to test their boundaries by doing such a thing.

Though perhaps not, since no one seems to have done it yet.

I would question one's sanity at that point, really.

Yet as you are saying, such abnormal minds are likely the norm here, miss.. ah..

Sorry! What was your name?

Anji Mito.

Ah, my name is, that is.

Riful-san I don't believe I've seen you before, have you been trapped in this Discedo prison, long?

Oh no. I've only been here for, oh, perhaps a week and a half, not much longer.

Well I wish you well in this unstable place.

I'm sure you've had time too see first hand what we're up against daily.

While death is treated very lightly here, I would not suggest running head first into it.

It still hurts after all.

Ah, thank you~

Indeed. Surviving here seems to be a great deal of work-- but many people have been very kind to me, so it's not nearly so bad.

I am not afraid of death. In fact, you should You're quite right. It would also be unpleasant to tax the scientists' patience with us.
